Chinese tom-tom with wooden shell painted red. Heads are natural pigskin, painted with green, black, and red dragon and rooster. Design worn, top head has hole at 3cm W on edge near shell. Shell damaged in many places. Dried where paint does not cover wood, separating at seam. Large flathead nails hold skin to shell. Shell is suffering from structural damage. |
