Description |
Ornately cast bell screwed to wall stand, yet free-swinging and can be rung by pulling a chain attached to a stand arm. Stand has rooster and gryphon. Bell has words from liturgy of mass inscribed around base and middle of bell. Has clapper. Inscription is "PATER NOSTER GIL ES IN OELIS" and "DOMINIS NOBISPUM ET ELIM SPIRITU". Modern square bolts hold bell to wall bracket. Chain is ended in ring, and is 36 inches long. |
