Chinese tom-tom. Wooden shell, painted black. Paint peeling and many dents in shell. Flathead nails used to hold natural pigskin heads on top and bottom. Bottom head has no marks. Top head reads "MADE IN CHINA". Two sets of Chinese symbols printed in black on head. Three metal loops evenly spaced around shell, one with newer leather strap tied through it. |
